2. General information

Protecting your personal data is important to me. Personal data is processed on this website only to the extent technically necessary and where you provide it to me yourself. Processing takes place in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Providing personal data is voluntary. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is built and hosted with Lovable (Lovable Labs Incorporated, 1 Lincoln St, Boston, MA 02111, USA) and delivered via the content delivery network of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit the website, the hosting providers automatically collect information transmitted by your browser, such as IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is used solely to ensure the secure and stable operation of the website and is not combined with other data sources. It is stored only as long as necessary for these purposes and then deleted.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). Processing may also take place outside the EU, in particular in the USA. Transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the recipient is certified, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the hosting provider.

4. Cookies

This website only uses cookies that are technically necessary for delivering the website securely (for example, routing or security cookies set by the hosting provider). The legal basis is Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This website does not use any tracking, marketing or analytics cookies, and it does not use any tools to analyse your usage behaviour.

5. Fonts

All fonts used on this website are hosted locally on the website's own server. No connection to Google or other third-party font providers is made.

6. Contact by email and contact forms

If you contact me by email or use one of the forms on this website (contact request, meeting request or checklist download), the form creates an email in your own email program, which you then send to me yourself. The data you provide (e.g. name, company, email address, message) is used exclusively to handle your request and any follow-up questions. Your data will not be used for newsletters or marketing purposes without your separate, explicit consent.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Emails are processed by my email service provider, with whom a data processing agreement has been concluded. Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to handle your request, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

7. External links

This website contains links to external websites (e.g. LinkedIn). Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click such a link. The respective provider is responsible for any data processing on its website.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). If you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). To exercise your rights, please contact the email address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. In that case, I will no longer process your data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. To object, simply send an email to tanja@tanjabreitling.com.

9. Data security

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" in your browser's address bar.
